The best acoustic and classical guitars. What are the best brands of guitars The most famous electric guitars

Perhaps the Japanese company Yamaha is the most popular manufacturer of musical instruments. Flutes, guitars, drums and more can be found in any music store. Guitars with this are usually quite high quality due to the fact that the manufacturer uses good wood, and besides, the material is selected by hand. Add to this a truly Japanese scrupulousness - and you will understand that this company won the love and respect of the musicians not by chance.
Not only the guitars of this company are well-known, but also wind instruments.

Ibanez

Guitars with this brand are also found in stores quite often. It is an old firm with a solid reputation. True, Ibanez power tools are in somewhat greater demand than acoustic ones, in particular bass guitars are popular, but this manufacturer also produces good acoustics. If you are just starting to learn to play, you will not find a better instrument.
Ibanez guitars are made from mahogany, and the fretboards are usually rosewood. So the guitar not only sounds great, it looks great.

Gibson

Gibson is a globally recognized guitar brand. The firm produces instruments for true professionals, and it is Gibson guitars that are in the greatest demand among the stars. These instruments are particularly rich in sound. In addition, judging by the reviews of the musicians, it is very convenient to play them.

"Epiphone"

Epiphon guitars also enjoy a good reputation. The company itself is a subsidiary of the famous Gibson Corporation. Epiphon-branded acoustics are no worse than the instruments produced by the parent company, but they are much cheaper. Made from quality materials, these guitars are extremely comfortable and sound good. Good for this company too.

Squire

Squire guitars are also very suitable. The body is particularly solid, but at the same time the guitar sounds good. The products of this company are positioned on the world musical instrument market as intended for beginners. A guitar like this is just perfect for a music school student. In addition, it is inexpensive.

Other firms

In stores you can find guitars from other manufacturers - Japanese, Korean, Canadian. Recently, Czech and German guitars, once loved by Soviet musicians, have become less popular. They are produced in smaller quantities, but the quality is not inferior to the best world brands. So if you see Cremona in a shop (usually a commission one), don't pass by, it is a guaranteed good tool. And, of course, there is always the opportunity to order a guitar from a master with an appropriate reputation. And not always a custom-made guitar will cost more than the one in the store.

The guitar is one of the most popular musical instruments in the world. For centuries, the guitar has been one of the most beloved musical instruments. With the invention of pickups, a new era in music was born. Their distortions contributed to the creation of a new instrument based on the classical guitar. This instrument is an electric guitar. In this top, we will take a look at the most popular electric guitars.

  • 10 Gibson Firebird

The Gibson Firebird was designed in 1963 as a guitar that could bring back the popularity of Gibson and also compete with its main competitor, Fender. Most of the emphasis was on the unusual guitar design developed by Ray Dietrich. The Gibson Firebird guitar stands out with its reverse headstock, as well as its flared body. Perhaps due to its unusual design, the guitar has gained immense popularity.

  • 9 Fender Jazzmaster

Fender Jazzmaster was developed in 1958 and was focused on the performance of music in the jazz genre. However, the technical features of this guitar interested not only jazz performers, but also musicians of such styles as surf, grunge, indian rock. The Fender Jazzmaster has been used by musicians such as Elvis Costello, Joseph Markis and many more.

  • 8 Fender Mustang

The Fender Mustang was developed in 1964. Due to its small size, it has become popular among musicians with small hands. It is also popular for its unusual meaning. The guitar gained great popularity because it was Kurt Cobain's favorite guitar.

  • 7 Gibson Explorer

The Gibson Firebird was developed in 1958, however, due to the conservatism of the musicians of the time, a guitar with such an unusual shape was not in demand. Thanks to this, the release of these guitars was quickly stopped. However, in the mid-70s, production was resumed and guitars of this aggressive shape gained immense popularity. Also on the basis of this guitar, many guitars from other companies were created. The most famous is the ESP Explorer, the favorite guitar of James Hetfield of Metallica.

  • 6 Gibson Flying V

The Gibson Flying V guitar was created in 1958. It was distinguished by an unusual shape of the body in the form of an arrowhead. It was thanks to the shape of the guitar that such musicians as Jimi Hendrix and Rudolf Schenker drew attention to it. This guitar, like the previous one, has become popular among musicians of heavy styles.

  • 5 jackson Randy Rhoads

This guitar was designed by musician Randy Rhoads and Grover Jackson, one of the founders of the Jackson guitar maker. Thanks to its unusual and aggressive design, as well as thanks to the tragic death of guitarist Randy Rhoads, the Jackson RR guitar has become one of the most popular guitars in the genre of heavy music.

  • 4

The Gibson SG is based on the Gibson Les Paul. This model has a thinner and lighter body and a double cutout for easy access to the upper frets. However, Les Paul, the creator of the Les Paul guitar, did not like the shape of the guitar and asked to remove his name from the name of the guitar. However, the Gibson SG guitar found its fans in the person of Angus Young, Tony Iomi and Daron Malakian.

  • 3 Fender Telecaster

The Fender Telecaster guitar, designed by Leo Fender in 1950, has gained quite significant popularity. This guitar was inspired by the shape of the ukuleles. The simple construction of the guitar made it much easier to repair, which made it very popular among musicians.

  • 2 Gibson Les Paul

Gibson Les Paul was developed by inventor and musician Les Paul in 1950. This is a truly iconic guitar. A huge number of copies were created on its basis. This guitar, as well as guitars based on the Gibson Les Paul, has been used by a huge number of musicians. This guitar is Gibson's most popular and best-selling guitar.

  • 1 Fender Stratocaster

And the winner was the Fender Stratocaster. This guitar was designed by George Fullerton, Leo Fender and Freddy Tavares in 1954. This guitar has been used by a colossal number of musicians. Almost all famous musicians have played the Stratocaster type guitars, it has become a symbol of the electric guitar in general, and it is its copies that are mainly produced by all well-known guitar manufacturers. We can say that the Fender Stratocaster is a guitar classic.

In this article, we'll take a look at a number of well-known musical instrument manufacturers. Of course, we will not look at all the existing factories, but only those that have already established themselves on the Russian market and have earned at least some reputation. Brands will be excluded from the review Gibson and Fender since There are many separate voluminous articles about these titans of guitar making, and I think it makes no sense to mention their importance once again.

Adams Is a Chinese company, allegedly with Canadian roots. Indeed, the Canadian company of the same name exists and is quite successful, but apparently with a Chinese Adams has nothing to do. Despite the very sonorous (hinting towards the west) name, they do not stand out in anything special and represent a typical Chinese consumer goods. Closely associated with famous electric and bass guitars Rockwill, the same ones that by Adams.

Admira - affordable mid-range Spanish guitars. Guitars from this factory are well suited for student and amateur purposes. Of course, there are also professional products, but they are extremely rare.

Alhambra - a well-known Spanish factory that deals mainly with classical guitars, well, and quite a bit with the production of strings of the same name, cases and other trifles. Founded in 1965, in the small Spanish town of Alicante. I don't think it's worth talking about the Spanish quality of guitars, it is almost perfect, as well as the sound of such instruments. Alhambra's prices are moderate, the assortment is wide, ranging from inexpensive models to professional-level instruments.

A. Amati Is a fairly common Chinese brand of musical instruments in our country. Despite their origin, guitars Amati in most cases, they are made very carefully and in terms of their characteristics are comparable to the favorite novice guitarists Martinez's... As a first guitar and basic acoustics skills, the Amati will do just fine.

Aria Is originally a Japanese brand with a claim to legend, founded in 1953. The heyday of the company came in the mid-70s, the last Japanese guitar came out in 1988, later most of the production moved to Korea. At the moment, they are engaged in almost all types of guitars, including ethnic musical instruments, but are known primarily for their electric guitars. They do not stand out in any way, the products are everything from budget models to professional ones. They did not come up with any innovations, all the products are typical copying of the products of more "hurried" competitors.

Ashtone - typical arch-cheap student guitars from the Middle Kingdom. With quality, everything is as usual - you can find either a decent tool, or one that will fall apart in a couple of months. What else can I say ... "Ashtons" have been on the market for a long time, at the very least having established themselves and, of course, it is possible to consider their products as the first budget guitar.

B.C. Rich - a recognizable brand of electric guitars, with a characteristic design a la "Made in Hell". These guitars can be seen in the hands of many famous musicians playing the most difficult genres of rock music. Initially, the brand was American, which experienced a difficult time of financial decline and poor quality in the 80s. Currently, most of the presented guitars in the CIS are made in China and Korea with a very decent level of quality, electronics and a characteristic "knocked down" metal sound. As the first student guitar B.C. Rich completely unsuitable (it is impossible to play comfortably while sitting with such guitars), but on stage, as a complement to the image of a "guy from hell", such guitars are just a godsend!

Burny - subdivision Fernandes... Japanese manufacturer of not the cheapest musical instruments. All instruments are traditionally of high Japanese quality and traditionally accurately copy products Gibson with minor differences.

Brahner - another confusing name of typical Chinese guitars, by the way, very, very cheap. They are found everywhere and do not stand out in anything special, except perhaps for their extremely low price. If you are going to buy such a guitar, then you need to choose it very carefully.

Baton Rouge - very picturesque, or, as they say now, creative guitars (mostly pop acoustics) of an advanced amateur class. Guitars are created in China under "someone's" professional guidance (either from the USA or from Germany, it is not specified on their website) have a very bright individual appearance and are solid, manufactured goods from classic wood species. The brand is very young (1999), but already well-known and popular in Europe, and this already says a lot ...

Caraya - it is not known when and where the brand of Chinese guitars came from. They produce everything from classics to bass guitars. The assortment is very wide, prices are very low and therefore you need to choose very carefully, and it is better to pay attention to more reputable manufacturers in general.

Carvin Is a little-known American brand dating back to 1947. In addition to the development and sale of their products, they were engaged in "part-time work" ie. selling musical instruments to more successful competitors, for example C. F. Martin & Company... Despite the fact that all this time remained in the shadow of more successful colleagues in the workshop, they managed to earn their positive reputation. Now they are mainly engaged in electric guitars of a very high quality level. There is a Custom Shop department, which will take into account all the wishes of the customer. Their prices are not the lowest, but, as you know, individuality cannot be cheap.

Caparison - a young Japanese brand (1995) of musical instruments. We have shown a number of innovative and design solutions in their products. At first, they seemed to work exclusively for the domestic market, and a little later they remembered that the world is not limited to Japan alone and went to conquer Europe. One thing can be said about the products - they are of exceptionally high quality.

Cort Is one of the largest manufacturers of musical instruments in the world. All products have already gained a positive reputation due to their low prices and good quality. Most of the production is concentrated in South Korea, famous primarily for their electric guitars and acoustics. In my opinion, they are distinguished precisely by acoustics, since it is precisely this that has a very good ratio of appearance / price / quality and sound. The situation with budget electric guitars is a little different, they need to be looked at closely, although they also have a good balance of quality. All products are clearly recommended for use.

Colombo - (former Skylark) are engaged in the production of perhaps the cheapest guitars and save on almost everything. Only on their guitars can you find frankly yellow and raw frets made of soft brass. That is, in fact Colombo shows what guitars should NOT be. Despite all the shortcomings of their guitars, they can still be called more preferable over domestic guitars or some kind of left-handed noname.

Crafter Is a very renowned manufacturer of professional musical instruments dating back to 1972. Crafters can be seen in the hands of many famous musicians and this is not at all coincidence, their products are valued for their high quality, excellent acoustic performance and, surprisingly… reasonable prices. They value their reputation, and therefore all products are manufactured exclusively in Korea under strict quality control. Electric guitars can also be seen in their product line, but they are not as popular as pop acoustics.

Dean – (Dean guitars) is a well-known and distinctive American manufacturer of musical instruments since 1976. Many different types of guitars are produced, mainly for the "heavy stage". They appeared in Russia recently, somewhere in 2007. The company itself has experienced many internal frustrations, but it has coped with all the problems and at the moment it is quite successful and popular for itself. A number of famous Western musicians play their instruments, and from domestic ones - Vladimir Kholostinin (Aria).

Ernail - Chinese sharaga, which rivets guitars on stencils Phil Pro, Rockwill one to one, without even changing colors. Of course, nothing special stands out, and guitars from this manufacturer must be chosen very carefully.

Epiphone - originally a manufacturer of musical instruments, founded in the city of Izmir (Turkey) already in 1873! In 1957, Gibson bought the firm and turned it into a subsidiary. At present, Epiphone successfully sells to all those in need of budgetary Chinese Forest Floors, and I must say it sells successfully. But what is interesting is that the reviews for their products differ very much, someone is madly in love with such Les Pola, someone, on the contrary, considers these guitars completely unacceptable, otherwise it is up to you to decide.

ESP Is a well-known Japanese musical instrument company that recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. It is interesting, first of all, for its budget electric guitars, which have an enviable quality and good sound characteristics. A number of famous musicians such as Richard Kruspe (Rammstein) and James Hetfield (Metallica) use these guitars at their concerts and in recording studios. Most of the production is concentrated in Indonesia and China. Overall products ESP very high quality, without a claim to elitism and enjoys well-deserved popularity.

Eurofon Is an openly Chinese manufacturer who traditionally wants to be European. From personal experience I can say that the strings produced by "Europhone" are the apogee of ugliness and low quality.

Flight Is a Chinese manufacturer of quite passable musical instruments. Generally Flight already almost synonymous with the expression "student guitar". Their guitar can certainly be considered as the first instrument (only carefully) and there are a number of reasons for that - low prices, acceptable quality and good sound. The assortment is very different - classical guitars, pop, electric and bass guitars. In general, "Flights" are not the worst consumer goods that meet the requirements of a novice musician.

Furch - (known in the USA as Stonebridge) a lesser known Czech manufacturer of musical instruments than Strunal but more advanced. Their product line includes everything from semi-professional level to the most real professional studio instruments. In similar products with "Strunal" they are distinguished by an even higher price and, accordingly, high quality. Furch's acoustics are so good that they can easily compete with the products of Martin and Taylor. But in general, still high-quality products Furch especially for your lover and admirer, who, of course, will always be found.

Freeway Is a Chinese manufacturer of budget guitars. With quality, as always, everything is difficult, you need to choose carefully, but their prices are very democratic and attractive. But again, you need to buy this still untested and young factory only for lack of the best in the same price category ( Amati, Flight, Martinez)

Godin - over 40 years of existence, a Canadian company Godin became famous so that it practically became on a par with such giants as Martin and Taylor... All products are mostly professional and semi-professional in nature and are sold for a reasonable price (even a low one, with an incomparably high level of quality!). They value their reputation and therefore do not deploy production in Asia. All products are manufactured exclusively in Canada and the United States from high quality wood.

Guild - a company that rightfully closes the gallant three manufacturers of American acoustics ( Martin, Taylor, Guild). Although some will begin to resent why there is no Gibson in this trio, this is a separate story about the quality of acoustics from Gibson... So, Guild has extensive experience in guitar manufacturing since 1952, is very well known in professional circles and is now owned by Fender. All products are exclusively of the highest quality and are designed for studio and concert needs. On guitars Guild is played by many world famous musicians who appreciated their great sound and striking appearance.

Greg bennet - good budgetary and picturesque guitars (mostly acoustics) from the Korean Samik ( Samick). Of course, there can be no question of amazing quality and noble sound here, but as a budget guitar that emphasizes and complements the individuality of a provincial musician, Greg Bennenta is it :)

Hohner - ubiquitous guitars that traditionally boast of their German origins. But they have enough German for exactly one name, otherwise it is a typical Chinese consumer goods (nevertheless, as if under a German license) with a currently dubious quality (2011) A couple of years ago they were distinguished by a very decent and stable level of quality, now everything is very sad with the latter. There is a lot of marriage among "Honers" and therefore, if you decide to acquire this "German of Chinese origin", you will have to look carefully, otherwise you can complicate your life ...

Hora - Romanian, original and very experienced (1951) manufacturer of musical instruments. They produce everything from violins (by the way, hi-end level ~ 3 thousand euros) and ending with national musical instruments. Even electric and bass guitars are produced, but they do not stand out in anything special, in contrast to the same classical and acoustic instruments of the Chora. But the latter are very curious, at a price comparable to Chinese instruments, the latter are made on the spot, due to the use of high-quality Carpathian wood and solid upper decks. But, not everything is so glorious in this kingdom and, unfortunately, the quality of the instruments is not as encouraging as we would like. You need to choose carefully, sometimes you come across a marriage, and the tools themselves are made using cheap fittings ...

Hofner - a modest German company with solid experience (already since 1887) and its own original ideas in the guitar building, which, it must be admitted, did not become widespread. Most of the musical instruments produced are professional and first-class products. This is with regard to production in Germany, and the Chinese Hofners are comparable in quality and sound to their fellow countrymen-competitors. Hohner, with the only difference that they are less known.

Ibanez - a leading Japanese (despite its clearly Spanish name) company for the production of musical instruments around the world on an equal footing with Jackson and ESP... Without exaggeration, it has the widest range of bass and electric guitars. Perhaps the first real contender for legend after Fender and Gibson. Many famous musicians play Aybanez guitars, including Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Everything is supplied to the market, from the most budget and inexpensive guitars to the most advanced and professional guitars. The quality of the guitars is also different, if everything is clear with Japanese professional "Aybanez", then cheap models of guitars from China may raise some questions.

Jackson - is one of the valiant Japanese top three of the best ( Ibanez, Jackson, ESP). Currently owned by Fender. Most of the guitars presented in the CIS are made in India with very good quality, and the most advanced models are made in their historical homeland.

Kramer Is an initially promising American musical instrument brand dating back to the 70s of the last century. Subsequently, something did not work out and the original Kramer "glued the flippers", later they were bought by the guys from Gibson, and then they were finally abandoned. The history of "Craimir" is very confusing and incomprehensible, but one thing is clear that all modern inexpensive Kramer It's on sale, nothing more than a replica of original products and naturally produced in China ...

Madeira - a Chinese brand, which, according to some sources, is closely related to the Romanian brand Hora (coincidence in models and their names, although perhaps this is “different Madeira"). Surprisingly very good quality and very good building performance, so to speak. I personally felt these guitars, the impressions in terms of quality are very, very positive, but the sound of these guitars did not stand out at all in front of other Chinese ...

Martin - fully C.F. Martin & Company, without exaggeration, the # 1 manufacturer of acoustic instruments worldwide. The products are the most perfect, absolutely in all respects. The history of "Martin" began in 1796 and is worthy of a separate voluminous article, I can only say that the guys from "Martin" have finally paid attention to the market of budget guitars. Now any mortal can afford a Martin dreadnought not for 3-4 thousand $, but at a divine price of 10-12 tr. Of course, such a guitar will be completely made of musical laminate, but in the end it will be legendary Martin and it will undoubtedly sound!

Martinez Is a Chinese brand that has firmly and permanently entrenched itself in our market in the early 90s. Guitars are ubiquitous, stand out for their low price and very interesting sound for this very price. Nowadays, the Chinese have become lazy at the end, and the quality has dropped somewhat, so that the goods of this "folk brand" should now be chosen more carefully. Despite the promising and hinting name, nothing to do with Spain, and even more so with the original Martin Do not have ...

Phil pro Is another ubiquitous musical instrument manufacturer. Many online stores present Phil Pro products as purely Korean, although the production itself has long since moved to the Middle Kingdom. The quality is naturally different, someone praises, and someone frankly spits. You can consider it as the first guitar, but only for lack of the best, otherwise with a bad guitar you can get a complete lack of "musical motivation" ...

Rockwill by Adams - Chinese products suspiciously resembling products Phil pro... For more details see Adams.

Schecter - a little-known American company that does not hesitate to manufacture its instruments in Asia. In terms of quality, they are similar to the budgetary (and slightly higher) "Aybanez" guitars, although they differ from the latter by a greater "love" for good accessories and a more democratic price. For aspiring guitarists, this is it.

Skylark - renamed to Colombo.

Stagg - a well-known brand of budget musical instruments on a par with Phil Pro. In general, everything that is said about Phil pro will be fair in relation to Stagg'a.

Strunal - aka Cremona. Czech manufacturer of musical instruments in the style of the German guitar school. Unlike the neighboring Furch, Strunal's products cannot be called professional, but rather amateur instruments. All guitars are primarily famous for their indestructibility, so when buying a Strunal guitar you can count on it to serve you not for a year or two, but for many decades. Fittings "Strunals" are also not deprived, although the necks of the budget line of guitars could be processed better. But all the attraction of guitars Strunal is lost when you see their price ... a couple of years ago, Strunals were much cheaper, and the purchase was more justified then than now ...

Takamine Is a popular brand of professional acoustic guitars in the musical environment. Practically "Japanese Martin", by the way, they even had some quarrels with "Martin" due to the obvious similarity of the products. The company was founded back in 1968, produces exceptionally high-quality products at an exceptionally high price.

Taylor Is an American titanium of guitar making. Initially, all products were positioned as "analogues of the Martins, only at a more adequate price." Currently, this principle has long been in the dustbin of history, and guitars Taylor having high-class acoustic characteristics similar to “Martins”… they ask for the same high price.

Washburn Is an American brand that dates back to 1883. First of all, they are known for their solid and inexpensive electric guitars from Asia, of course, there are guitars of American production, but they do not have such a price attractiveness as Asian ones. All produced guitars of the lower price range are perfect for beginners and already practicing guitarists.

Yamaha - the famous Japanese concern for the production of everything and everyone. But in this case, they are interesting for their guitars. To begin with, I want to highlight the quality with which these guitars are made - it is very, very good, one might say indicative, even for budget instruments. In the product line of guitars Yamaha he can find everything for himself, everyone - from an entrance musician to a fierce pro, and that, I think, says it all. The products are definitely recommended for use.

Zombie - a widespread arch-budget Chinese brand of musical instruments for those who did not have enough for “something better”. Most electric guitars "Zombies" can boast of obvious "jambs" in quality and prohibitively low price. The sound of such guitars also does not stand out in any way and will only suit a beginner guitarist for the first year.

To compile this rating, several thousand people were interviewed who were asked to name the best budget electric guitar in their opinion. There were only two conditions: the guitar must be electric, its cost must not exceed $ 500.

As expected, the list mainly consists of Strat, Tele and Les Paul styled guitars from renowned low-cost instrument makers Squier, Epiphone, Vintage and Yamaha.

But besides them, there are some pretty wild things here. Brands such as Cort, Kramer, Steinberger and Chapman have competed with the aforementioned stars in this ranking - see who took first place.

Of course, it's best to look through the entire list - after all, every guitar here is a real sweet candy. And we want to present this candy to those who are looking for a new tool, but are somewhat limited in funds. Trust me, you won't be disappointed if one of these beauties ends up at your home.

So let's get started.

25th place: Vintage V100

Great classic look.

Solid mahogany body, glued-in mahogany neck, Trev Wilkinson hardware including pickups and tuners.

There is no doubt that the Vintage V100 is a decent tool for very little money. Definitely what a rock musician needs on a budget.

24th place: Cort G110

This is the traditional shape of the legendary Stratocaster, with some daring curves. A good entry-level tool.

S-style electric guitar with graceful curves. Pickups: humbucker, single, single. Aimed at guitarists who want something classic and familiar, but a little different.

23rd place: Steinberger GT Pro Deluxe

What a surprise. A Steinberger guitar is definitely different from anything else on this list. It is a combination of 80s form with the most modern content and sound. With such a tool, you will definitely notice yourself when you play in public.

At the same time, the Steinberger GT Pro Deluxe is being sold at an affordable price. This electric guitar is perfect for those who really like to stand out.

22nd place: Kramer Pacer

The original Pacer appeared in 1983 and was then the world's best-selling electric guitar. In modern times, the company was acquired by Gibson, who decided to reissue the famous 80's instrument.

Great appearance, phenomenal game capabilities. The thin and wide maple neck makes the guitar ideal for hardcore cuts, and the Floyd Rose tremolo system can produce dive bomb sounds. Guitarists interested in speed play should definitely try the Kramer Pacer.

21st place: Vintage VRS 100C

The Vintage VRS 100C has a great electric guitar look and feel right on display. Nevertheless, this instrument is a workhorse for performances.

The VRS100 is a blend of cutting edge looks with traditional values. Smooth tremolo system, carved top and humbuckers from the famous Trevor Wilkinson. The guitar looks amazing, and its sound quality does not fit this price category at all.

20th place: Jackson JS32T Rhoads

This is the sharp, sparkling Rhoads hatchet, named after Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist Randy Rhodes. For very little money, the Jackson JS32T is just a phenomenal electric guitar.

This steep reef monster features a mahogany neck and giant frets with shark fin inserts. Add a couple of humbuckers to that and you have a look to die for. Jackson JS32T Rhoads is an electric guitar designed for real rock and heavy metal. In short, the thing is not for the timid.

19th place: Squier Classic Vibe '60s Telecaster Custom

The well-known manufacturer of budget electric guitars Squier appears on the scene (we will see him more than once in this list). Here is a guitar in the style of a Telecaster from the 60s.

Affordable versions of classic instruments that both look and play well are always eye-catching. Indeed, hardly anyone in their right mind will pass by such a cutie and not even look. Squier knows what to hook, that's for sure.

18th place: BC Rich Warlock One II

Can you handle Warlock? You have to seriously ask yourself this if you are considering buying a growling monster of metal, because there are a hell of a lot of guitars left on this list.

Obviously, this option is for metal fans. However, it is not only good for its black and black trim and devil horns. It's also a really cool guitar that boasts a basswood body and two brutal humbuckers waiting to be thrown into the unsuspecting crowd.

17th place: Sterling by MusicMan SUB AX3

Just look - Sterling is beautiful. Stunning looks (check out the stylish colorful finishes) and great sound.

Our Verdict: It's a joy to play, and we wholeheartedly recommend this tool for aspiring guitarists who want to sharpen their claws on a quality stick that will give you an 80s vibe.

16th place: Epiphone SG400

If you, like most of us, adore the way Gibson looks, but your family budget does not match the price of American guitars, then Epiphone is the brand for you.

Epi has been making affordable and sounding guitars for a very long time and has become a real master at copying hi-end Gibsons. Take the SG400, for example: a heartbreaking and hard-hitting contraption that would hardly let AC / DC's Angus down.

15th place: ESP LTD ES-50

Are you ready to rock? - Then this guitar is for you.

The Gibson Explorer shape and the tendency to scare grandmothers with young children. The LTD ES-50 features a maple neck with a slim U-profile. This guitar takes on its appearance and the ability to create serious heavy noise, if, of course, you have the courage to do it.

14th place: ESP LTD Viper

The SG-style hardrocker is such a hot guy with an explosive personality, ready to tear everyone who is in the front rows of the stage. This guitar is something like this.

Our Verdict: The Viper's greatest success was in classical rock, when John Sykes played his pseudo-riffs on it - tortured harmonics and strange chords. Sounds convincing. Unfortunately, the guitar doesn't deliver the sharp highs that we love so much with AC / DC, but the pure funky strumming is quite satisfying (especially when using both pickups).

13th place: Epiphone Les Paul Special II

Les Paul without any frills, reduced to the primordial minimum. The Special II is one of those guitars that many bands dream of.

Contrary to the belief by some that an inexpensive guitar cannot have super-sound, the Special II is a strong-sounding guitar that retains everything we love so much about the Les Paul, but nothing on top of it. Mahogany neck and body, 60s-style neck and a couple of humbuckers - no, honestly, what more could you ask for?

12th place: Squier Bullet Strat

Need a Stratocaster, but your trunks aren't bursting with gold? - Squier Bullet is what you are looking for, sir!

Yes, Leo Fender, we respect your legendary electric guitar for its ingenious design, build quality and sound, but your American prices are too bite. Bullet Strat, on the other hand, can end up in your home for money that can be spent at a bar overnight.

11th place: Epiphone ES-339

It is essentially a slightly modified version of the legendary ES-335 uniform. Epiphone ES-339 is also an icon, only in a lower class.

Stylishly made with characteristic arches and F-holes, a beauty with a sound that, in theory, should not have had a guitar at such a low price. You would hardly let such a game go if you were hunting something like that.

10th place: Ibanez GRG140

Just look at her. It's a beast, and it will bite your hand off if you're not careful.

A killer S-style electric guitar designed to cause maximum damage to your ears. The GRG140 follows the look of the Stratocaster, with a mahogany neck, a bunch of derailleurs and a Fat-10 bridge. These are the reasons that this is one of the most recognizable guitars made by Ibanez.

9th place: Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster

Great shape and quality sound. It's hard to believe that nowadays you can take a Jazzmaster for very little money, and it will quite stand on a par with the originals.

Our Verdict: This is a lively, vibrant instrument loaded with excellent pickups. Yes, Fender can certainly squeeze all the juice out of their legendary guitars and achieve the perfect sound. But when you have such a miracle in your hands, sounding a level higher than its price category, it's a sin to complain.

8th place: Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom

What a miracle? Okay, it’s no surprise anymore when Squier takes a classic concept from Fender and repackages it into an instrument we can afford.

Vintage Modified Custom is a prime example of this: the classic shape, sounds pretty good, and provides direct access to the telecaster's sonic nirvana.

Our Verdict: Sparkling Clean, capable of throaty growl if needed. What makes the Telecaster a rock guitar? Ask Jimmy Page. He played this one-single stick in the early days of Led Zeppelin.

All in all, while the sound of the Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster doesn't quite sound like the famous punchy clarity of the original, it's really good for dirty blues noodling and clean rhythm.

Thanks to its fantastic neck, this guitar doesn't feel cheap at all.

7th place: Epiphone The Dot

Arguably the best semi-speaker for the money, The Dot is becoming a legend in its own right.

Taking the classic shape from the ES-335 and making it a reality for guitarists who might not otherwise be able to afford F-holes, The Dot is simply something to try to be believed. A striking tool with a touch of respectability.

Our verdict: A 335 - a 59-year-old blonde - will cost you about $ 30,000, a new reprinted version of it - $ 3,000, and Epiphone The Dot - $ 500. A very lucrative offer. It looks great, sounds great and is a pleasure to play.

6th place: Squier Vintage Modified Cabronita

Fender's most recognizable and popular new design has earned its acclaim. It was only a matter of time before he became the Squier Cabronita.

However, no one expected Squier to do it that well. Authentic energy, bridge, Fideli "Tron pickups, vintage tuners - all at a price you can't resist.

This version of Vintage Modified has a warm sound that is great for lingering chords and clean leads, and at the same time performs well in overdrive.

5th place: Vintage V100 Icon Lemon Drop

The guitar is styled after Peter Green's legendary '59 Les Paul. The guys at Vintage are really great.

Finished to perfection with burning maple trim and inverted humbuckers. This is a blues instrument. You have to play Lemon Drop to believe how beautiful it is. She's worth every cent paid for her. And even more.

Our verdict: The right tool, and the $ 380 price tag speaks in favor of the Vintage V100 over the Epiphone LP100.

4th place: Yamaha Pacifica 112V

The Pacifica has long been one of the most popular and beloved budget electric guitars.

Great sound with sparkling tones, attention to detail, very attractive wrapping. It is truly the perfect instrument for the aspiring guitarist. It would be a mistake not to try to play it.

The Pacifica 112V remains not only an excellent choice for beginners, but an excellent choice overall, regardless of your age or ability.

3rd place: Epiphone Les Paul Standart

Ah, the gorgeous Epiphone Les Paul Standard is the answer to the aspirations of any guitarist on a budget.

This is a knockout appearance, the right weight, the transfer of all shades of sound, and all this for a significantly lower amount than its older brother, made in America, offers. In fact, Epiphone was very irresponsible in creating an instrument so similar to the Gibson Classic.

Our Verdict: The Epi Les Paul has a powerful sound that still gets a little lost on the treble. So, as long as you do not need to get something very high out of an electric guitar, consider that you have a real Les Paul in your hands.

2nd place: Squier Classic Vibe '50s Telecaster

This is one of those guitars that you just can't resist.

Classic Telecaster with black pickguard, blonde burnt sugar trim, vintage tuners and brass bridge. How can a person who knows the history of rock and roll not want it?

Our verdict: A look for all ages and a modern sound. If you search well, you can get this Classic Vibe '50s Telecaster for only $ 500. Profitable!

1st place: Chapman ML-1

The guitars created by YouTube sensation Rob Chapman are phenomenal, and this ML-1 is the most phenomenal.

The first sales were extremely successful, but now the demand for the ML-1 is higher than ever. Here's a glorious winner of our list of the best budget electric guitars in the world. Chapman has proven that you don't have to be one of those famous grown-ups to make the great guitars that many are desperate for.

The Chapman ML-1 is often compared to the Swiss Army Knife. This instrument will give you everything from iridescent clear sound to brutal hard riffs (thanks to Chapman-designed pickups). Plus, the ML-1 delivers top-notch build quality and playability. This is our winner!

Our Verdict: The ML-1 is a worthy competitor to similar guitars from LTD and Schecter. It is perfectly assembled, the finish is excellent. All the ideas embodied in his concept are perfectly embodied.
