What profession are we talking about? I am the immediate leader of the movement. The correct use of the train schedule on the line depends on the clarity of my commands. My work requires a lot of focus and attention. During my shift, I have to solve hundreds of problems with many unknowns and monitor continuously changing conditions. My profession requires endurance, discipline, immediate reaction, quick wits, and a strong memory. You must have good technical training. And of course, be able to get in touch with people involved in organizing traffic on the line, in sorting and shunting work.

What profession are we talking about? I am responsible for the technical condition of the main part of the road - the tracks. The track is the basis of railway transport. I repair the track and keep it in constant repair in order to ensure the safety of train traffic. My profession requires strength, endurance, a wide variety of skills and knowledge. To build and repair railways, you need to have a good knowledge of the properties of soils and ballast materials, understand the methods of laying sleepers and rails, be able to secure them, and perform many other operations. My profession has three important features. The first is that my “workshop”, my workplace, is in the open air. We work outdoors in heat, rain, cold and snow. The second feature is that we change our workplace almost every day. The area being maintained or repaired is an extensive landfill. We are transported to our place of work by buses, handcars, work trains and even by helicopter. But you also have to walk a lot, since the vehicle cannot always deliver directly to the place of work. The third feature is the shortage of many more machines that have already been created, which we really need. Therefore, we carry out a significant part of the work, especially with the current maintenance of the track, manually.

What profession are we talking about? My task is to monitor the serviceability of all freight and passenger cars. You can see me at stations when the train is stopped. I walk along the carriage and tap the axle boxes and wheel pairs with a special hammer on a long handle, assess the condition of the body and chassis, crawling under the carriage to be sure. I also carefully monitor how the cargo is secured and whether it has damaged the car while moving and during maneuvers. If the problem is small, I fix it myself. In case of major repairs, I make conditional markings, write out a special notice and mark defects with chalk, and determine the scope of repairs. Upon completion of the inspection of the car and drawing up a final conclusion on serviceability, I hang a signal to indicate the tail of the train, which is a pass for the train to continue its journey.

What profession are we talking about? My profession is one of the most popular professions in railway transport, related to serving passengers along the route. Before setting off on a voyage, I accept the carriage, equipment and bedding. I ensure safe boarding and disembarkation of passengers, their correct placement in the carriage, create the conditions necessary for comfortable travel: order and cleanliness in the carriage, normal temperature conditions, air ventilation. I monitor the good condition of the carriage chassis, auto brakes and electrical equipment, eliminate minor defects in it, put on and remove the drive belts of the undercar electric generator. I must know the rules for the technical operation of railways, the transportation of passengers and luggage, the location of stations along the train route, and instructions for signaling on railways. School subjects require good knowledge of geography, physics, and languages. The main quality of my profession is that friendliness towards people must be combined with observation, accuracy and efficiency when serving passengers.

What profession are we talking about? My profession is a leader in the truest sense of the word, the leader of the leaders on the railway. After all, I am the one driving the train. Of course, high professional and civil responsibility for the assigned work should be characteristic of all railway workers, no matter where they work, but I have a special demand: the result of the work of hundreds and even thousands of people, the rhythm of train traffic, and most importantly, life and safety depend on my work passengers, cargo safety. I have been entrusted with a powerful locomotive, and I must be able to use all its capabilities. And for this it is necessary to know the machine perfectly - to clearly imagine how the main components and systems of the locomotive are arranged, how they work in various modes and specific operating conditions. The highest skill of the representatives of my profession is the smooth driving of the train, especially along sections of a complex profile, with precise execution of the schedule and the lowest fuel consumption. In order to earn the right to practice my profession, I need to study long and hard, know and be able to do a lot.

To form in all participants in the educational process a conscious attitude towards their health; to instill in children the need for a healthy lifestyle, as an indicator of universal human culture; to introduce children and adults to the traditions of big sports (skiing, basketball, swimming, football, volleyball, rhythmics); promote the assimilation of rules of observance of hygiene standards and culture of life, linking together elements of anatomical, physiological and hygienic knowledge.
