"Russian Lefty". An extra-curricular activity dedicated to the art of microminiature

There are not many people in the world who have managed to shoe a flea. Among them, in addition to the hero of Leskov's famous story "Lefty", is the master of microminiature Nikolai Syadristy.

The famous master of microminiatures Nikolai Sergeevich Syadristy was born in 1937 in the village of Kolosnikovka in the Kharkiv region. Studied at the Kharkov Art School. A man of various interests, M. Syadristy has been making microminiatures for over 40 years. All miniatures are made only by hand, with their own unique technology for each robot. And so we look

A life-size mosquito made of gold (6.5 mm long) on the nose is a girl with an umbrella.

This amazing person, with his creativity, managed to expand the idea of human capabilities. As it turned out, shoeing a flea for him is not the most difficult thing. Among the works of Nikolai Syadristy there is a gorgeous rose 0.05 (!!!) millimeters in size, placed in a human hair polished inside and out, a chessboard, on which the Alekhine - Capablanca game is displayed in miniature golden figures. An amazing exhibit is a 3.4 mm long model of the frigate "Scarlet Sails", which consists of 337 parts. The rigging of a boat is 400 times thinner than a human hair. My work master makes by hand, using a special technology for each work.

Rose in a hair

For all the exclusivity and amazingness of his achievements in microminiature, Nikolai Syadristy does not at all consider this art his main occupation. This is an amazingly versatile person - in his youth he worked as an agronomist, was the absolute champion of Ukraine in underwater sports, master of sports of the USSR. For many years, Nikolai Syadristy has been researching the history of totalitarian regimes: fascism, communism, Nazism. A documented exhibition about the communist terror in the twentieth century, prepared by Syadristy on the basis of collected documents, was demonstrated by Syadristy in 20 regional centers of Ukraine, as well as in Greece and Hungary.

The main part of Nikolai Syadristy's works is in Kiev, in the Museum of Microminiatures, which is more than 25 years old. The museum has a unique collection. The most popular exhibits are: a portrait of Yuri Gagarin carved from a bone of thorns, the world's smallest operating electric motor, a shod flea, a caravan of camels in the eye of a needle, the smallest inscription made by a human hand - an autograph on the end of a hair and a balalaika in a poppy dewdrop.

Microminiature master Nikolai Sergeevich Aldunin was born on September 1, 1956 in the village of Yuzhnaya Lamovatka, Voroshilovgrad region. Of all natural and artificial materials, from childhood I fell in love with metals and metal products. Working as a locksmith, and then as a turner at industrial enterprises, he learned all the secrets of metalworking. With some kind of inner instinct, he immediately accurately selected the cutting mode for metals, this made it possible to increase the number of products, increasing their quality. Nikolay considers the existing "metal technology" imperfect. Several years ago he got the idea to shoe a flea. I wanted to prove that it was not in vain that N. Leskov sang and glorified the Tula Masters all over the world. I spent two years preparing, and then sat down at the microscope. Three months later, when I finished my work, I realized that I had “found myself” in microminiature. He quit his job and decided to take seriously this very difficult and interesting craft.

Nikolay Aldunin is left-handed. The master made all the works with his own hands, without using any machines or mechanisms. Here are some more of his works on a grain of rice.

The height of the letters is 0.14 mm.

Several years ago, the master died, but throughout his life he carried one truth: only that person will achieve the goal who strives very much for it. The higher the goals, the stronger the aspiration should be.

Therefore, set high goals for yourself and confidently go towards them!
